This weeks task was to strip and re-spray an oak dining table. These are very common tables that we often get asked to restore This one has one extra leaf which is inserted by a handle that winds it in and out.
We completely stripped the table back to bare wood and then sanded it off, going down through the grades to create a lovely smooth surface. Once prepared we stained the table top with a light fast stain, then sprayed the A/C lacquer on the top. This creates a durable water and heat resistant finish.
