Your internal restoration carried out on location
If you have got damage to the interior of your building then Brian Matthews & Son are happy to work on location providing internal restoration for both commercial and domestic clients. We generally get asked for staircase repair and some of the internal restoration carried out involves Oak Panelling.
Commercial work has been carried out in restaurants and hotels, grand houses and period offices locally, clients include: The Vineyard Hotel, Donnington Valley Hotel where the team worked both on site and where possible we brought pieces back to our workshop in Newbury.
Internal restoration is generally done on site on areas where polishing is needed in situ, such as staircase repair, hand rails, internal doors or cabinets that need to be hand finished and matched to decor.
The photographs above are just examples of the work carried out.
The first picture is a mahogany spiral staircase that has been fitted from new, it has been finished with a rich mahogany stain and then french polished, but we also specialise in staircase repair. The second is is a French Walnut door that has been french polished on site at the Wentworth Estate, Sunningdale.
