Brian and his son Ben travelled a fair way to renovate and lighten our 1930's oak panelled room. Right from the start they were very approachable, friendly and professional, providing samples of what the wood would look like after treatment. They undertook the task as arranged and the finished room looks great particularly where they had matched some new panelling to the existing wood and had repaired areas of damage. I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them for this type of work. Job well done and thanks.

We asked Brian and his team to come and apply a professional finish to our new oak staircase. A lot of companies offer a quick brush coat of lacquer, but for such a big feature in our home we wanted it done professionally and this is exactly what we got from Matthews Restoration.
